(update oct 2013. i still have the ringing but recently i got a steroid shot for allergys. this didnt help the ringing but it has helped break my congestion down by 75% at night. its only been a week but so far that seems to of helped the congestion. Also ringing can come from wisdom teeth or also brain tumors. A good dr. will recommend you get a MRI to make sure you dont have a brain tumor. They are expensive though so make sure your insurance covers it)

intro
The reason i made this video was because ive had a ringing ear or tinnitus for 3 years now, and ive searched and found tons of fake videos of old people or hot girls on youtube who say they have this problem and then want you to buy a book or some shit. This is my personal story and help. Im doing this to help people out from the goodness of my heart and to warn people to not get scammed by other videos.

what i cover
In this video i will talk about the basics and tips of what ive learned talking to a few doctors and personal stuff from reading forums and etc. Also i made this video so you can show family members and friends who dont understand the pain your going through, im hoping you can show them this and it will explain to them the seriousness of pain your in and the limit of things you can do.

If you dont want to watch the whole video i made a short list of problems and solutions. The video is over 20 minutes long and people simply may not have the time. I made this video long because i want the viewers to know me personally to connect with what im saying so you know that i know what were both going through and that i know wtf im talking about unlike other dumb videos.

problems solutions quick list of whats in the video
1. friends/family wont understand your situation, learn to not get depressed over what they say
2. go to multiple doctors, and ents and get more then one opinion
3. allergy pills like claritan may help congestion/ringing
4. congestion can cause ringing
5. ringing is from a ear being unbalanced/congested which can cause being dizzy, losing your balance, and your vision going sideways
6. nasal spray may help
7. tmj can cause this
8. a mouth piece, professional made by a dentist or a temp sports mouth piece may help stop the grinding teeth at night which causes tmj
9. nightmares can cause grinding teeth which causes tmj which causes ear ringing
10. cold weather and climate changing doesnt help. the warmer the better but fresh air also helps by opening a window.
11. some drs make you come back multiple times to make more money off you, recognise a good dr and a bad dr.
12. theres a nerve in your throat that can be damaged that causes ringing ear, have a ent use a camer to examine it
13. soda/pop caffeine drinks can cause it
14. opiates as in pain killers can cause it and im assuming heroin prob could cause it (ive never done heroin so im just guessing, hopefully you odnt use it either)
15. try a nettie pot to help clean out the gunk in your nose
16. a dr can blow air and water in your air to clean the gunk out
17. theres a tube that goes from your ear to nose that can become clogged, a few ents suggest pinching your nose closed and blowing air to sel pop your ears to clear them. be carefull when you do this you dont want to damage your hearing, just clear it
18. tinnitus is caused when your nerves in your ear are shaved and damaged from loud exposure of noise over the years from music or work like power tools. its not very common in younger people. most of us just have ear ringing and not tinnitus, but tinnitus is the easiest way to describe and categorise it to family and friends.
19. there basically is no cure for tinnitus.
20. you can try over the counter pills or liquids that are supplements for your ear. the pill you can just take and the liquid you rub in your ear. what this does is provide natural stuff your ear should have in the first place but is lacking. although its not a cure it does somewhat soothe it.
21. hot showers temp clear up congestion

for right now thats all i can remember. if you have any questions please please ask and ill help you as much as i can. like i said this video is to help you

oh also one last thing that i forgot to mention in the video is wi-fi can cause ringing ears. try to make all your house connections chorded. and cell phone signals are bad, especially in a car with its windows up the connection bounces back and forth. you can buy a little item that plugs in your light sockets in your house to block wifi wavs. although i havent tried this i believe it could possibly help

Hello and just checking up on you and see how ur tinnitus is going ? For me
it was really low for few months but this passed week it’s been a bit up
but I have notice that when I don’t sleep Well it’s worst

Chas Brodis says:

You possibly can cure tinnitus easily and naturally within 30 days with no
drugs needed.

tinoq21 says:

one question i have for ur sound in your ear does it go away a bit when you
go out side for walks or gym or mall or do you hear it all the time?

Jorge Lam says:

Hello! Have you tried Ferlene Super Tinnitus Relief (just google it)? Ive
read some decent feedback about it and my cousin enjoyed worthwhile results
with it.

Flare Flick says:

Hi there! There’s some buzz about this unique way to get rid

I think I got tinnitus it’s suck I went shooting I had ear plugs on but my
ear started ringing…the dr. Said I have fluid in my ear so they gave me
pills not sure if it was because of the shooting or the fluid that’s
causing the ring in my ear please reply jesseperezgomez@yahoo.com

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

your welcome, i just replied to your other message but thanks for writing.
hopefully things get better. people keep telling me to go to a doctor and
ive already been to a bunch lol they act like the dr’s are magicians who
can just wave there hand over my head and heal me. i saw a interesting kurt
cobain interview the other day where he talked about his stomach pain he
had all his life and went to dr’s for 3 years and no one had a answer so he
tried a bunch of meds until one worked.

Jordan Harper says:

yea I got over ny 10 days of antibiotics now I am on steroids and
decongestants got 2 more days of that ..the ringing is still there probly
hoing to be a lifer wiyh it its been 3 weeks so idk man it what it is I
guess

bmister50 says:

My pulsatile tinnitus comes only at night? I can’t find out a answer
why!?!? It’s driving me insane!!!!!!

Redderick Jewcowski says:

im 15, and i didn’t know anything about tinnitus a year ago, and i used to
go to gigs all the time. and after i went to one festival last year, and
stood 15 metres away from a MASSIVE stage speaker for 10 hours, i was
almost fully deaf after the festival, me and my friend had to scream to
hear each other, and it took ages for my ears to heal. but my right ear is
still almost half deaf and i have the ringing non-stop. always fuckin wear
ear protection!

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

hi sorry for the late reply but your correct you can get one but i tried
one of those and for me it didnt work to well. it was a sports kind at
dicks sporting good where you put it in hot water and then mold it to your
teeth but the piece was to big and kept me awake.

Jordan Harper says:

Hey I have had ears ringing for bout 15 days now went to. 2 doctors both
said I gad fluid in my ears and an infection. Sadly still ringing .i have a
history of big car stereos. Possibly will be stuck with this high pitched
ringing for ever

Stellar Queen says:

Thanks for posting this video! I completely understand what you are going
through and it is nice to know I’m not the only one who has tried to
explain it to friends or family who don’t really get how this is a real
problem. I have been dealing with all of these symptoms for almost a year,
at first it was not too bad but now the loud ringing sound, dizziness and
headaches are all there all the time, pretty much stopping me from having a
normal life altogether. Good luck!

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

did they give you antibiotics? it sounds like in your case you have a bad
ear infection which could last up to a few months to get rid of it. i would
make sure you get antibiotics and keep taking them and go back and see what
they say when they look inside. i also have had alot of car stereos for the
past 15 years which could be a issue

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

yes that helps for some but be carefull when you do that because you can
also cause damage if you do that to hard and to much. if you do that to a
point where it hurts then dont do it. what that does is move some of the
gunk out of the way that may be in the tube going from your nose to ear.

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

damn dude thats pretty harsh im sorry to hear that. the very first concert
i went to was marilyn manson and i couldnt hear for 3 days and i was far
away. i kept saying to myself how the hell can they deal with the sound on
stage.

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

also one more thing as i mentioned in the video if you have alot of
congestion or fluid in your case that can cause a off balance in your other
ear which could cause ringing. i really think once you get that infection
gone that itll slowly even out

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

i took antibiotics first before anything for a few months, i got the dosage
increased more and more and tried 2 different kinds. one kind i had a
allergic reaction to and turned red lol

Redderick Jewcowski says:

i think that if at gigs and stuff they had ads or whatever for earplugs, no
one would have problems with their ears. it’s just that many people don’t
even know that there’s all these special earplugs for music and stuff, that
don’t fuck up the sound, they just reduce decibels.

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

it would be a good idea to sell them at the merch booths or even sell them
at the doors for cheap like a dollar or something. i think i might try to
hand some out if i can come across alot for cheap. good idea bro.

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

did the shot help you? i jsut got one a few days ago a steroid shot for
allergys and it seems to of helped the congestion alot but the ringing is
still the same

lucky dowwg says:

hippa i hit a curb in idaho in 2008 during winter and every since i have
had a hissing ,ringinging in beat with my heart beat and yes i noticed this
week when the weather went down its gotten worse e mail me man at
luckyfella2001@aol.com and we will visit id like to ask you a few questions
and if you me if you want

Jordan Harper says:

bmister50 says:

*For you

klukemusic says:

For teeth grinding while sleeping, you can get mouth piece called
Nightguard or somethings similar that you can mold it to fit your own
teeth, it’s only cost $20. There’s no need to spend hundreds of dollars at
the dentist.

bmister50 says:

I can get it to be lighter If I pop my my ears by doing the valvasa
maneuver. I think that’s what it’s called? You hold your nose and blow air
into your ears.

drast0ne says:

I’m 24, I’ve had it in my left ear for 4 years. it’s not very loud but
still harassing in the silence. still not sure if caused by sound exposure
or some jaw joint disorder. anyway, exercising, ginkgo biloba, eating
healthier, less salt, no alcohol, etc can help u reduce it. as millions of
people suffer it I’m confident a cure will be found soon. good luck man

hippa2dahoppa2 says:

it comes at night because stress exhaustion and fatigue (being tired) makes
it worse. so basically the longer you are awake and the more tired you are
the louder it will become.
